Recent highlights and what’s on tap with AW’s new Instagram Live Interview Series
First and foremost, we hope everyone is safe and well, hanging in there the best you can during these incredibly trying times. It is important to me to point out that Artist Waves stands with and supports Black Lives Matter – ultimately focusing on equal rights for all. Here are two organizations we would like to highlight where you can learn more about what you can do and how you can do it:
As you know, our live interview series kicked off on Instagram back in early April. Jeff Gorra typically has two or three guests per week in a back porch with drink style conversation – about anything pertaining to music, artistic process, getting through this time of quarantine and inspiration. For 30 minutes or so, the vibe guides the flow of the conversation allowing some very interesting and impromptu topics. Like –
Brandon Boyd from Incubus telling us how the band’s new EP Trust Side B was written:
Kevin Martin annoucning the title of Candlebox’s new record:
Citizen Cope dropping some serious wise-words:
KBong writing our theme song spur-of-the-moment:
Or Given To Live founder Tom Pugh sharing an emotional moment speaking about the organizations powerful mission.
You never know what is going to happen. Each conversation includes a live Q&A with viewer submitted questions at the end.
This week’s guest is – Artist, Keegan Hall on Wednesday June 3rd (4pm est/1pm pst).
Coming up we’ll have: Producer, London Bridge Studios owner, Eric Lilavois, Nicole Alvarez from KROQ-LA, Joseph Arthur and much more.
Big thanks to all our previous guests: Brandon Boyd, Citizen Cope, Kevin Martin, Trevor Hall, Emerson Hart, Gin Blossoms, Jackie Popovec of The Vindy’s, G.Love, Given To Live, Fantastic Negrito, Ripe, Will Dailey, KBong, The Elovaters, Aldous Collins and Jonathan Ulman.
