A green wave celebration of music, art and surf

The place to be last weekend was Asbury Park, NJ – where nearly 35,000 people rocked, surfed, painted and screamed up and down the boardwalk at the second-annual Sea.Hear.Now festival.

One of the most unique and artistic events to grace North America, renowned photographer Danny Clinch, Tim Donnelly, Tim Sweetwood and HM Wollman have created an experience that is not only drastically different from the rest, but also contains a profound takeaway for any attendee.

2019’s lineup included headliners, Dave Matthews Band and The Lumineers, plus Dropkick Murphys, Bad Religion, Joan Jett, Dispatch, Ripe, The Struts, Jade Bird, Donovan Frankenreither, Cat Power, Mike McCready’s Infinite Color and Sound, Fantastic Negrito and Blind Melon to name a few … gracing the Surf, Sand and Park Stages; while Balaram Stack, Sam Hammer, Brett Barley and Rob Kelly were some of the surfers ripping along side of them.

Jena Ardell was there behind the lens, and well… the photos tell the story.
