Whew… what a year! One where Cornell blazed a trail, spreading messages of love. With his solo Higher Truth tour, Cornell gracefully reinforced the power of being who you are and living in the moment. I found it incredibly moving and important that Temple of the Dog happened to be on their first proper tour during the election. What are the chances a band of that stature, in that incredibly rare circumstance, are front and center during an uncomfortable time? Five guys who whole-heartedly represent the power of music and reaching down, picking each other up. That’s why they were a group in the first place and that’s exactly the purpose of their music.
In honor of this all, I’ve collaborated with numerous photographers to capture the spirit of Cornell’s one-of-a-kind year.
