Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala, Brandi Carlile, Travis Scott
and more make for a memorable round 10
Exactly six year prior to day two of the 2019 Boston Calling Festival, a local band name Bad Rabbits first graced the City Hall stage – kicking off what was then a bi-annual event. It was the first of its kind in Beantown, consisting of a unique and diverse lineup. Before moving to Harvard University’s athletic grounds in 2017, Boston Calling would also take place in September during its initial years. Add in a few Jack Whites, Eminems, Mumford and Sons, Chance the Rappers and the countries best comedians and we now have what would be the 10th official edition of this New England Memorial Day tradition.
From Friday’s opening notes of Adia Victoria on the Delta blue stage to Travis Scott stepping off the red stage at 11pm on Sunday, 2019’s Boston Calling held true to it’s celebratory distinctness within the arts culture while at the same time, evolving with the world’s most alluring acts.
