Interviews, Food Trucks, Hair Cuts and… Nine Inch Nails.
After a three-year hiatus, Boston Calling was officially back this past Memorial Day weekend. Follow along with me here – Foo Fighters were supposed to headline night one. Heartbreaking tragedy struck the legendary rockers and Nine Inch Nails came to the rescue to fill the spot. The Strokes were slated to headline night two. Covid struck and Nine Inch Nails came to the Boston Calling rescue again, to fill the spot and close the first two nights. Metallica, Ripe, Weezer and Glass Animals were some of the big names to fill day three.
I was on the BC Harvard grounds on Friday and Saturday, conducting artist interviews. In addition, I had the chance to get the story behind the barbershop setup in the artist trailer area, find the best food truck onsite, and watch Trent Reznor do what Trent Reznor does.
